The Warinanco Park 2009 Summer Cross Country running series was designed
to provide an opportunity for runners of all ages to come together and compete
on one of New jersey's most historic cross country courses. The five race series
will be held on Wednesday evenings beginning Aug 18th, 2010, and continuing
every week through August 25th. A final Saturday Race with everyone
participating on Teams is Scheduled for Saturday August 6th.
Warinanco Park is a beautiful venue for Cross Country racing. It is located off
St. Georges Avenue and borders Roselle and Elizabeth, New Jersey. High
School runners have raced through the lush grassy fields for more than 70
years!. Come out and experience the splendor of racing at Warinanco.
Dates: Wednesdays - August 11, 18, 25 and Saturday September 4th
Time: Weds Races Start at 6:45 PM, Registration Begins at 5:45 PM
Saturday Race begins at 9:00 AM
Amenities: Age Group Prizes and Overall Winners receive Prizes
(Team Prize to be awarded at Saturday Race) If you don't
register as part of a team you will be randomly placed on one.
Commemorative Gift to 1st 125 entrants.
Where: The famous high school 5K dual meet course at Warinanco Park in
Union County (E. St. Georges Avenue, Roselle, NJ)
