The Warinanco Park 2009 Summer Cross Country running series was designed to
provide an opportunity for runners of all ages to come together and compete on one of
New jersey's most historic cross country courses. The six race series will be held on 3
Saturday mornings and 3 Wednesday evenings beginning June 18th, 2011. The races
(some with themes and special prizes) are summarized below:
Saturday - June 18th 9:00 AM The Race for Dad 5K
Wednesday - July 20th 6:45 PM Wednesday Night at the Races
Wednesday - July 27th 6:45 PM Wednesday Night at the Races
Wednesday - August 3rd 6:45 PM Wednesday Night at the Races
Saturday - August 13th 9:00 AM Fab Four 5K
Saturday - August 20th 9:00 AM The Peace Run
Warinanco Park is a beautiful venue for Cross Country racing. It is located off St.
Georges Avenue and borders Roselle and Elizabeth, New Jersey. High School runners
have raced through the lush grassy fields for more than 70 years!. Come out and
experience the splendor of racing at Warinanco.
Amenities: Age Group Prizes and Overall Winners receive Prizes
Commenmorative gift to 1st 100 entrants in Saturday Races.
Also, gifts to entrants in Wednesday races as supplies last.
Where: The famous high school 5K dual meet course at Warinanco Park in
Union County (E. St. Georges Avenue, Roselle, NJ)
